Bristol Palestine Film Festival

The Bristol Palestine Film Festival has been showcasing Palestinian cinema, arts, and culture since 2011, inviting audiences to engage with Palestinian life through film, music, and cultural events across Bristol’s independent venues.

For the festival’s refreshed visual identity, we developed a bilingual logo combining an olive branch with the cinematic frame. The olive branch extends beyond the logo into a flexible illustrative system for all applications—appearing in different sizes and forms against a watermelon motif, an emblem of solidarity and resilience. The color palette of red, green, black, and white references the Palestinian flag, while scattered seeds and layered textures add depth and movement to the designs. A branding manual ensures consistent application across posters, social media, cinema screens, and print materials.
