Amal, Berlin! is a news website offering news and local updates from Berlin and Germany in Arabic and Farsi/Dari. The challenge was to promote the website in an offline advertising campaign targeting Berliners with Arabic and Afghan/Persian backgrounds. Five different posters in both languages were made. Each poster displayed a mobile phone chat dialogue highlighting different aspects of the themes covered by the news platform. The content of the chats were developed in a workshop led by subtype.studio with the participation of Amal, Berlin! journalists.
