Lernort Kulturkapelle (KuKa) is a network-driven project focused on global learning, promoting inclusivity and community engagement through events and educational programs in Wilhelmsburg Island Park (Hamburg). The challenge was creating communication materials—program booklets, posters, and digital assets—without access to high-quality photos, while ensuring the design felt welcoming and cohesive across various formats.

To address this, we developed a visual language centered around illustration, typography, and layout systems. The use of bold typography and dashed outline illustrations allowed us to create a consistent and friendly look, even with limited photographic material. Geometric shapes and vibrant color treatments were applied to images, while playful illustrations and clear typography created an accessible, engaging design. This approach ensured that all printed and digital materials communicated KuKa’s mission in an inclusive, inviting way.
