



#WirAlmanya Symposium
subtype.studio collaborated with Bertelsmann Stiftung and Die Integrationsstiftung on the naming and branding of the #WirAlmanya symposium, held under the auspices of the Federal Ministry of the Interior’s Deutsche Islam Konferenz. Through a series of facilitated workshops, participants distilled the event’s core message of shared identity and participation into the concise, socially resonant name “#WirAlmanya.” This name set the tone for a visual system that seamlessly connected digital and physical environments.
Building on a gradient palette that transitions from green through teal to red, subtype.studio developed a white-knockout hashtag logotype paired with a stylized crescent-asterisk “pin” symbol. These assets were applied consistently across print materials—letterheads, badges, agenda booklets, and venue signage—while also informing interactive workshop tools. In particular, the DIY paper eyewear kits invited attendees to cut, fold, and assemble their own branded glasses, reinforcing the symposium’s emphasis on shifting perspectives and active engagement.
